A Lesson in Perseverance

The mixed breed geese have diligently tried to brood and hatch offspring with little to no success. This spring is different! One goose has managed to hatch eight goslings (out an tottering around) with at least two more in the next on the verge of hatching.

What a great job she did. I guess she just needed to time to get in touch with her natural instincts!
